ABR Massager

The ABR massager is a device that is used to complement the delivery of manual ABR applications. In principle, it’s workings are quite straightforward; the pumps inflate the air bladders, which expand and apply pressure to the chosen areas of a child’s body.

The bladders are manufactured from special materials which are designed to control its shape and expansion qualities. The device’s sophisticated software monitors and controls the interaction of pressure, volume, and change in parameters; permitting compression deep into the fascia tissues, thus emulating manual applications.

The ABR massager has the capacity to deliver consistent, reliable and super long and slow movements and can rapidly adapt to changing parameters and thus works well even if the child moves around.

This mechanical application can also be safely used overnight to extend therapy time – allowing a larger volume of application.

The massager is an integral part of the Premier Thrive & Flourish Program as it enables the massive process of achieving strengthening of the trunk; whilst allowing the manual treatment to focus on more complex applications, where the hand of the therapist is required to perceive the response and work accordingly, or in areas which are more difficult to access.
